This 2 weeks course was taught in English and held at Le Labourdonnais hotel in Mauritius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lectures and workshops on a wide range of topics including trade, economic, financial and monetary integration, the costs and benefits of the implementation process and political economy aspects of integration were held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>&#8211; 27 delegates across 13 African countries\/RECs&nbsp;<br>&#8211; Lectures and workshops on a wide range of topics including trade, economic, financial and monetary integration, the costs and benefits of the implementation process and political economy aspects of integration were held.<br>&#8211; Participants used both theory and case studies to compare economic and monetary integration experiences worldwide, and to reflect in particular on integration processes underway in the African Regional Economic Communities.<br>&#8211; Feedback received indicated that participants found the course to be useful in their role in their work positions.<br>&#8211; 27 completed feedback forms were collected and compiled<br>&#8211; Out of the 27 evaluation forms, 85.1% strongly agreed that the knowledge and skills learned during the course will have practical applications in their jobs and professional development.<br>&#8211; 88.8% were satisfied with the course.<br>&#8211; The workshops and practical examples, along with the knowledge and competence of resource persons were cited by many, as strengths of the course.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le Labourdonnais Hotel , Port Louis<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"ngg_post_thumbnail":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-227","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-events"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/227","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=227"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/227\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":230,"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/227\/revisions\/230"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=227"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=227"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/rmce.govmu.org\/rmce\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=227"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
